How to Tune a Ukulele Online (GCEA)

Standard ukulele tuning is G4-C4-E4-A4, with the G string tuned high (re-entrant) — that bright, high G is the classic ukulele sound. Pluck one string at a time and bring the needle into the green: flat means tighten, sharp means loosen.

Ukulele strings have a short sustain, so pluck every two or three seconds to keep the signal alive. New nylon strings stretch for days — expect to retune often during the first week. Everything is analyzed locally in your browser; no audio is uploaded.
