How to Tune a Guitar with This Online Tuner
Tap the microphone button, allow access, and pluck one string at a time. The needle shows how far the note is from the target: if it sits left of center the string is flat (tighten it), right of center means sharp (loosen it). When the needle enters the green zone within a few cents, the string is in tune. Standard guitar tuning from the thickest string is E-A-D-G-B-E.
For the most stable result always tune up to the note — if a string is sharp, loosen it below the target and tighten back up. Pluck every few seconds so the tuner gets a fresh, strong signal, and tune in a quiet room. All analysis happens locally in your browser; your audio is never uploaded.
